Little Spatulas-Become a cooking star in your family kitchen as you learn some yummy basic recipes and cooking techniques.  Kitchen space is limited.  Register for all three sessions. Registration will begin on Monday, June 9th.

Saturday at 11:00 am June 28, or July 19
Coin Collecting (John Mauro)-Learn some history behind the penny, where money is made and how to start your own collection.  Participants will receive a Whitman blue folder and a roll of pennies.  ($1 charge at door in exchange for rolls of pennies)  Please register the for just one session. Registration will begin one week prior to event.

Summer Reading Kick-off Event
Farmer Rick and his band perform with upbeat pop/rock sound.  This is one rock and roll show for kids that parents can enjoy too!  Plus Farmer Rick is a real farmer-at the Shaker Farm Market in Enfield, CT.  The band has been featured at the National Mall and Walt Disney World.  A portion of the proceeds from their concert goes to autism research.

Sign Language 101 with Allison Bouffard Learn about the benefits of this form of early communication. These short classes will lay the foundation for a wonderful dialogue between you and your little one. Participants will receive a signing dictionary plus tips & techniques. Trumbull residents only. Space is limited. Register for three week session. Registration will begin on Monday, July 14th.

Mother Goose (Maddie Riselle) Before there was rap, there was rhyme.  This special visitor will present her nursery favorites.  They are destined to become your favorites too.  Join us!

Summer Storytime Schedule


We will not be having regular storytime during the month of May due to library visits for all of the 1st grade classes in the Trumbull School System. Storytimes will begin again in the week of June 21st.

Ages 6 Months to 3 Years

Donna Santos-Fridays at 11:00 am-July 18, August 1, August 15

Sing Alongs-Just drop-in to these songfests for little ones.  Clap, dance & sing to guitar favorites.

Storytime for 2's and 3’s

Wednesdays at 1:00PM- June 25, July 2, 9, 16, 23, 30 

Caregivers and young one have a storytime/craft session just for them. Child must meet age requirement. Either child or caregiver must be a Trumbull resident. Register for each session separately, a week before that session
