Oct. 15 – noon to 2:00 pmThe public is invited to View and Vote for the People’s Choice/Silver Spoon Award in the Edible Book contest. Admission to this fun exhibit is a canned non-perishable food item for the Food Bank. Refreshments and awards 2-2:30pm.

- Participant must have a current Trumbull library card
- Entries are divided into categories:
K-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, High School, Family, Group, Adult- Each edible creation must depict a fictional or non-fictional literary work in the collection of the Trumbull Library. Puns are welcomed!
- Each food creation must be 95% edible. Edible means made of food or foodstuffs. No larger than 18x24x24
- Entries must be family friendly
- Participants can enter up to 2 entries
- Registration is free!
Entry forms are available at each circulation desk. Return the completed form by Oct. 2.
The Trumbull Library System offers a range of items and services for our senior citizens. We have large print books in all genres, and a large collection of audiobooks on cassette and compact disc. Most of our extensive film collection is closed captioned for the hearing impaired.
