Students will build DNA models, and extract the DNA from wheat germ, as they explore the fascinating world of molecular genetics. HeLa cells, that grew from Henrietta Lacks’, were vital for advances in medicine, including the polio vaccine, cancer treatment, and other molecular advances. A Discovery Museum workshop.
